Meet Katlyn Tillett, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at North Suffolk Psychiatry who’s proud to call Suffolk, Virginia, home. Growing up on the southern edge of this tight-knit community, Katlyn knew early on that she wanted to make a difference in mental health right where she started. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University, a Registered Nursing degree from Riverside College of Health Sciences, and a Master’s in Psychiatry and Mental Health Nursing from The Ohio State University, she’s built the expertise to do just that—offering top-notch psychiatric care to those she's privileged to treat.

Katlyn’s worked everywhere from private practice to child and adolescent inpatient treatment and primary care, but she’s truly in her element with kids, teens, and college-age young adults. At North Suffolk Psychiatry, she’s our go-to pediatric provider, with a natural ability to connect, listen, and make them feel understood—never judged. Specializing in ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral concerns, Katlyn crafts care plans that are as unique as her patients, blending a holistic approach with collaboration and evidence-based know-how.

With over 8 years of experience working in various mental health settings, Dr. Graham holds a Doctorate of Nursing from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Meet Patricia, a dedicated counselor who’s passionate about helping you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and care. Raised in Central Virginia, she brings a local perspective to her work, backed by a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Psychology from Ferrum College and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Licensed since 2016, she’s committed to making mental health support accessible and meaningful.

With experience in settings like outpatient clinics, residential programs, and crisis services, Patricia has worked with teens and adults to address a wide range of needs. She blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a trauma-informed approach, tailoring her methods to fit each person’s unique journey. Whether you prefer in-office visits or the convenience of telehealth, she’s there to provide a supportive, welcoming space.

Patricia values meeting people where they are in life, offering encouragement as they pursue their goals. As an ally to the LGBTQIA community, she’s especially focused on creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels heard and respected.

Get acquainted with our Resident in Counseling, Robert Cruz.  Robert has a solid ten years of mental health experience and a knack for connecting with people. His path started with volunteering at crisis hotlines in the Southeast and building support spaces for students on college campuses. Over the years, he’s worked in all sorts of settings—intensive outpatient, residential, crisis intervention, and more—helping folks with everything from anxiety and depression to substance use, eating disorders, and family or couples’ challenges.

​

Robert’s got a passion for working with diverse crowds, including the LGBTQIA and BIPOC communities, but he’s just as happy helping anyone who walks through his door. He’s all about creating a comfortable, no-pressure space where empathy and practical solutions meet. With his broad background, he’s skilled at tailoring his approach—whether it’s for adults, couples, or kids. Speaking of kids, Robert’s a big fan of play therapy, using fun and creative ways to help younger clients open up and grow.

As a counselor, Robert’s a steady guide and supporter, focused on helping clients navigate life’s ups and downs. He keeps things easygoing with flexible scheduling, offering both in-person and teletherapy sessions.
